Annahootz, named for one of our favorite local mountains, features two, one bedroom suites with private outside entrances, full baths, sitting rooms and mini kitchens. Each suite has telephone, cable TV, VCR and private outside deck.
Breakfast in your suite with home baked pastry, hot and cold cereal, fruit, coffee, juice and yogurt. There is a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in each room.
Annahootz maintains a smoke free environment and requests that no alcohol or illegal drugs are used.
Your hosts are Dale and Cathy Hanson. We are thirty year residents of Sitka. Cathy is a buyer-manager for a local corporation. Dale is a sculptor. His studio is on the premises.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF ANNAHOOTZ
We are the most centrally located place of accommodation in Sitka. Because of our centrality, renting a vehicle may not be necessary.A full service gym is located two minutes from us by foot. It has a pool, court, and weight room that includes aerobic equipment.
We are located just above Crescent Harbor where most charter fishing boats are met for a day on the water, about a 3 minutes walk.
We have been honored by being voted the "best place to stay in Sitka" by the cruise ship industry and the "place to stay" in some books and periodicals. We have enjoyed "our people" who have stayed with us and blessed our lives.
We are a short walking distance to the start of several hiking trails and to kayak rentals.

RATES AND RESERVATIONS
We are open year round. Cost is $110 per night based on double occupancy, with a $10 charge per person beyond that. Price does not include 12% bed & sales tax.Deposit of 25% (one night's charge minimum) is required with booking. On bookings of under one week a full refund will be given if cancellation is made prior to three weeks of arrival date. Personal and traveler's checks, Visa and Mastercards accepted.
